Admiral Alade commiserates with Ikare community over losses after devastating rainstorm

It was a black Sunday recently for the good people of Ikare Akoko, Akoko North East LG when rainstorms wrecked havoc and claimed lives and destroyed many houses.

The Balogun of Akure kingdom and Chairman Akure council of honorary chiefs was full of sympathy while commiserating with the two revered monarchs, Kabiyesi Olukare and Kabiyesi Owa Ale and the families of those who lost their lives in the incident.

Admiral Alade said he was very shocked to see that many houses were destroyed and many lives taken by the storm. He prayed for such a terrific incident not to happen again in Akoko land and Ondo state at large.

Alade also appreciated Mr. Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi AKEREDOLU, ably represented by his deputy Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his love to our people in Akoko land and for coming to sympathize with our people in Ikare.
He then prayed for the souls of the departed to rest in perfect peace. Amen.
