Akeredolu Industrial Drive: Green Africa to start Service in Akure

The Industrial drive of the Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN led administration in Ondo State has begun to yield more positive fruits in the state and it’s neighboring States since the inception of his led administration.

The Akeredolu led administration is in his second tenure after winning the October 10 2020 Gubernatorial election where it defeated the PDP candidate for the second time to return elected.

The Ondo State Governor had promised upon his emergence during his first term that he will open the state for more industrial activities and in doing this, he plans to make the state more attractive for both local and foreign investors in the State.

Ondo State over the years has been noted as a civil servant state, an identity which the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN promises to change as the state has the potential and resources to become an emerging industrial and economic giant.

The effort of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN has started yielding positive efforts within its airline industry with the advent of Air-peace and Overland Airways in the State which began local daily flights in the State to and from Abuja

This has helped many business individuals to easily carry on their various business activities within the shortest time possible without having to travel through the road which takes longer compared to air travels.

In a new development, another airline, Green Africa has just announced its plan to start local air travels in Akure. As released by the management of the airline, it plans to commence direct connections from the commercial hub of Lagos into Akure, Ilorin, Abuja, Enugu, Owerri and Port Harcourt.

With another addition to the two already existing franchise in the state, this new development no doubt is a huge reflection of how much the Ondo State Governor has done in opening the state for more investors and more economic activities.

It will also be recalled that the Ondo State Governor has started working on creating a deep sea port in the state.
