The Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN has today led Southern Governors in Nigeria to place a ban on the cattle grazing across the Southern States of the Country.
The Southern Governors had met today, 11th of may 2021 in Government House, Asaba, Delta State where they reviewed the situation in the nation generally.
From the meeting it’s decided that the Southern States will not permit open grazing of Cattles anymore, they also affirmed that the people of the Southern Nigeria remain committed to the unity on the basic of justice, fairness, equity and oneness and peaceful co-existence between and among its people with a focus on the attainment of shared goals for economic development and prosperity.
Present at the meeting were, Willie Obiano of Anambra State, Ben Shade of Cross Rivers State, Engr. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, John Olukayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Senator Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State Oluwaseyi Makinde of Oyo State, Senator Diri Duoye of Bayelsa State, Senator Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Babajide Sanwo-olu of Lagos State, Isaika Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State and Ezenwo Nyesom Wike of Rivers State
