The Balogun of Akure Kingdom and Chairman of Akure Honourary Council of Chiefs, Rear Admiral Samuel Ilesanmi Alade(Rtd) has congratulated the Deji of Akure, His Imperial Majesty Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo Odundun II on his recent appointment as the Chairman of Ondo State Council of traditional rulers by Mr Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN.
The All Progressives Congress APC chieftain who said that the monarch’s competence has never been in doubt also affirmed that the Deji would lead the traditional leaders well in his new role. ” Kabiyesi is a very competent and intelligent person. Apart from being a highly cerebral monarch, he is a good manager of men and resources. I can assure anyone that he will do well in his new role”, Alade said.
While appreciating our amiable Governor Akeredolu for the honour done to the Kabiyesi, Alade also eulogised the roles played by traditional rulers in Ondo State to stem the tide of insecurity and expressed the optimism that things would get better with the calibre of traditional rulers occupying various stools across Ondo State.
The Balogun of Akure prayed that Almighty God would guide the Deji and see him through to success in his new assignment.
