Enyimba lose 2-1 to Pirates in Confed Cup

Nigeria Professional Football League side Enyimba lost 2-1 to Orlando Pirates in their second CAF Confederation Cup Group A match on Wednesday at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto, South Africa.
Home side Pirates grabbed the lead in the 27th minute through Deon Hotto.
Enyimba equalised from the penalty spot in first half stoppage time through captain Austin Oladapo, after Iwuala Anayo was brought down by goalkeeper Siyabonga Mpontshane inside the box.
Pirates had an opportunity to go ahead again after they were awarded a penalty in the 77th minute, but substitute Tshegofatso Mabasa blasted his effort wide
The South Africans, however, claimed maximum points when Mabasa scored the winner with one minute of normal time left to play.

Enyimba’s next game is against Algerian club ES Setif at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba on April 1.
